One of the key factors in Diabetes is the presence of gluten in your diet.
Many diabetics have been able to reduce their diabetes symptoms simply by living a
gluten-free lifestyle. In South Africa they call it suikersiekte (sugar illness)
Eliminating gluten will lead to a significant reduction in blood sugar levels (BSL) and as a result,
less medication treatments.
Thus, one of your main goals is to identify foods and recipes that
are free from any type of gluten. You have to accept the fact, that you will have to give
up all foods that contain rye, farina, wheat, semolina, barley, bulgur, and oats. After
eliminating these foods, you should do a blood sugar test. The results should be noticable.
In addition to eliminating gluten from your diet, I would recommend certain
other diet and lifestyle changes. I won't spoil all of the techniques here, but all
techniques revolve around one central concept: getting the foods you eat to
encourage the body’s natural production of insulin.
Before you developed diabetes, your body produces enough insulin to stay healthy.
Curing diabetes is impossible. Then something goes wrong and it goes up.
type 2 diabetes in children, (I am not discussing type 1 diabetes here) is increasing
so the same steps should be applied.
With the help of a few affordable changes great techniques, you could now be
able to boost your body’s natural insulin levels.
