Type 2 Diabetes and Alzheimer's Brain 'Tangles'
Obesity might also be behind the increase, researchers say
By Amy Norton
HealthDay Reporter
WEDNESDAY, Sept. 2, 2015 (HealthDay News) -- People with type 2 diabetes may be more prone to developing the brain "tangles" associated with Alzheimer's disease, a new study suggests.
The study found that people with type 2 diabetes had a greater accumulation of brain tangles -- even if they were free of dementia or milder problems with memory and thinking.
The findings, reported Sept. 2 in the journal Neurology, hint at one explanation for why people with type 2 diabetes have an increased risk of Alzheimer's disease.
That is, type 2 diabetes may cause brain abnormalities that pile on to other degenerative changes that ultimately lead to dementia, explained study senior researcher Dr. Velandai Srikanth, a geriatrician at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia. Read on...
How Do You Really Lower Your Diabetic Symptoms?
One of the key factors in Diabetes is the presence of gluten in your diet.
Many diabetics have been able to reduce their diabetes symptoms simply by living a
gluten-free lifestyle. In South Africa they call it suikersiekte (sugar illness)
Eliminating gluten will lead to a significant reduction in blood sugar levels (BSL) and as a result,
less medication treatments.
Thus, one of your main goals is to identify foods and recipes that
are free from any type of gluten. You have to accept the fact, that you will have to give
up all foods that contain rye, farina, wheat, semolina, barley, bulgur, and oats. After
eliminating these foods, you should do a blood sugar test. The results should be noticable.
In addition to eliminating gluten from your diet, I would recommend certain
other diet and lifestyle changes. I won't spoil all of the techniques here, but all
techniques revolve around one central concept: getting the foods you eat to
encourage the body’s natural production of insulin.
Before you developed diabetes, your body produces enough insulin to stay healthy.
Curing diabetes is impossible. Then something goes wrong and it goes up.
type 2 diabetes in children, (I am not discussing type 1 diabetes here) is increasing
so the same steps should be applied.
With the help of a few affordable changes great techniques, you could now be
able to boost your body’s natural insulin levels.
*Before embarking on any health regime, please consult your Doctor or
healthcare professional.
More about these techniques, in my next posting...

This is
nothing short of amazing!
According to a Nobel
Prize winning discovery, you can finally now live longer, be healthier, and
also beat virtually all diseases. This discovery is called “the Lazarus Cure”
because it is able to take aging cells and bring them back from the brink of
death. You can read all about the Lazarus Cure here. There are dozens of symptoms
of old age, but the latest research shows there is one main cause behind
practically all of them. It is called a telomere, and it determines the
lifespan of every single cell in your body!
